Chris Rosenthal is a partner at Aton Strategies LLC where he serves as an advisor to the firm’s clients including corporate, non-profit organizations, foundations and trade associations.
Rosenthal brings over 30 years of business transaction, valuation and forensic accounting experience to guide clients in a variety of complex business and dispute matters. Previously a Director at Ellin & Tucker, Chris led the regional accounting and consulting firm’s disputes, forensics and valuation services practice. Widely regarded as one of the preeminent dispute and valuation experts in the industry, Chris’s clients have included a wide range of corporations, law firms, governmental agencies, public and private entities, and individuals.
Rosenthal has been qualified and testified in court as an expert witness in over 85 bench and jury trials as well as arbitrations involving civil fraud, commercial business damages, intellectual property and patent damages, business valuations and bankruptcy matters, as well as a variety of other disputes. In addition, he has served as a court-appointed expert and an arbitrator.
His experience over the last decade includes serving as the campaign Treasurer for state and federal political entities including the Maryland Republican Party. He currently serves as Treasurer for Governor Hogan and Lt. Governor Rutherford’s gubernatorial campaign, and has a deep understanding of effective campaign finance practices and successful political fundraising strategies. In addition to his political experience, Rosenthal has served on numerous boards including; the Pride of Baltimore, The SEED School of Maryland and the A.A. Co. Partnership for Children, Youth & Families.
Rosenthal earned a BS in Accounting from Virginia Tech and an MBA with a specialization in Finance from the University of Maryland. Prior to joining Ellin & Tucker in 1987, Rosenthal was a financial analyst with a Perdue Farms.
